Book Your Air with Brendan
At Brendan, we are committed to providing the very best in service and airfares for our passengers. Airlines today change their fares almost daily, so rather than feature prices in our brochures that may be higher than “sale” prices, we show “land only” prices on vacation pages. We will quote you the very best airfare available to Brendan on the day you make your reservation.
How We Select Your Flights
Brendan will always try to book nonstop or direct flights. If these flights are unavailable at the time you make your reservation, we may suggest a connecting flight or fly you from a nearby alternate city. In the case that no flights are available on your requested day of travel, we will offer air on another day. On Escorted Vacations, this will add extra nights to your tour. Your Brendan Specialist can book these extra nights for you (extra nights and transfers will be at your expense). On Independent Vacations, it will change your travel dates. We can easily modify your itinerary to best suit your needs.
Once air is confirmed, your travel agent can contact the carrier for any service requests, such as special meals, seat assignments and to advise frequent flyer numbers. Brendan may also be able to confirm seat assignments; ask when booking.
Electronic tickets will be issued for all air itineraries.
Air Booking Guidelines
For up-to-the-minute air prices, ask your Brendan Specialist. Please use your exact first and last names as they appear on your passport. Once air is confirmed, any change to flights, flight schedules or the spelling of passengers‘ names incurs a $30 revision fee. Any change to the spelling of a name requires that we cancel the incorrectly spelled reservation and try to reserve the same flights. Any changes after Brendan issues the tickets are also subject to airline revision fees.
Airfares are not guaranteed until paid in full and ticketed. Airfares, airline regulations, taxes and fees, fuel surcharges and flight schedules are subject to change without notice.
Numerous Gateway Cities
Brendan offers numerous departure cities, which allows you the freedom to travel on one of our preferred airlines from any city served by that airline.
Airport Transfers for “Land Only” Travelers
On Escorted and Locally Guided Vacations, “land only” travelers flying into international terminals regularly served by our transfer service on the regular tour arrival and departure days will be able to purchase transfers. Free transfers may be available at set times on the regular arrival and departure days of your tour. Ask for details.
On Independent Vacations, travelers can always purchase transfers. Brendan has specially negotiated rates for transfers in many cities. Transfers can either be private (based on 2 passengers) or “seat in coach,” where you will be riding with a number of other passengers.
